 Gordon is one of the better drummers in the Sheffield area. He plays with style and panache, and although moving towards becoming long in the tooth (aren’t we all?) he performs with amazing energy. He will tell you this is due to his godlike physique and immense fitness, not to mention personal charisma and a passing attention to hygiene.
His main styles are R&B, Heavy Rock and Jazz Rock Fusion, but he can turn his hand to most things with sensitivity.
Gordon is currently working with one of our featured bands called ChinWig, and a damn fine job he is doing with it too. You can find out more about his work in that band on the ChinWig web site. His past notable outings were with Phoenix Rising, The Non-stop Walter Band and Stormbringer. He is available for session work where there are no time conflicts.
Here you can see him demonstrating the typical drummer’s fascination for all things that make a noise. He has also got to the stage where he can drool freely from both sides of his mouth, so we can always tell if the stage is level.
