This is Phil Jackson’s latest album release on his own label.
It features 20 tracks of original evocative blues/folk/ballad songs in a traditional journeyman style.

These tracks are a superb collection of intelligent poetic lyrics, coupled with haunting minimalist music. They deal with the spectrum of the human condition and our environment, varying from obsessed people in the city, through wistful feelings of love and loss, via mythology and human ecological impact, to wistful thoughts of lost youth. The album was prompted by Phil’s need to pass some of his music on as a personal representation rather than working through others. It reflects some of his live performances at festivals and clubs in Europe.

In Phil’s own words, “I wanted to use my skills and influences to write at least 20 songs using some of the lyrics not taken up by others to make an album. A varied one of blues, ballads, stories and make believe. Sea Full Of Dreams was a guy driving to the beach and then later back home, thinking as guys and girls do whilst driving and wondering what could have been. It was a great sunset that day. It made me realise that what could of been, would or could never be better, than what I had right now. A good start to call the album Sea Full Of Dreams, because we all have them.
